P-Jel Asia Pte Ltd was incorporated in April 2005 with a mission to offer one-stop integrated solutions for food processing systems. Within one year, P-Jel advanced to offer one-stop solutions for our customers from sales to customer support as well as service and repair. P-Jel's Vision is to be the region's most trusted and respected one-stop solution provider in the filtration and food processing systems. We evidenced this vision within a short span of two years, by participating or making representations of our valued products in the region: Jakarta - Inter-pak 2006, Kuala Lumpur - Inter-pak 2006, Cologne - ANUGA 2006, Frankfurt - IFFA 2007, Bangkok - Thaifex 2007
P-Jel Asia Pte Ltd together with Pemex Asia Pte Ltd are wholly owned by two brothers; Edwin and Patrick Ng with Patrick taking care of business development and Edwin taking charge of sales together with a technical team handling customer support, service and repair.
In October 2005, P-Jel Asia is proud to launch our first of its kind filtration system in Singapore! P-Jel Edible Oil Filtration System also known as the EFS series. To tackle the common problems faced in the production of fried food products from continuous and prolonged deep frying which affects the quality, appearance, taste and shelf life of the final product, P-Jel Asia introduced the EFS series which is a self-containing power-packed unit available in portable, mobile or grounded version and also some version with a 5-stage filtration process, all efficiently fitted into a high grade stainless steel housing unit to cater to differing rates and volume of oil.
In June 2005, P-JEL Asia Pte Ltd commissioned a research company to determine the characteristics and qualities of fresh frying oil after being exposed to environment and deep frying process. During deep frying of products such as nuggets, doughnuts etc; liquid and solid impurities (flour, water, fats, oil etc) contaminated the edible oil. Together with prolonged high temperature and with added oxidation from exposure to atmosphere, aging of the frying oil is expedited. After this filtration process, the quality of the final fried products, its appearance, taste and its shelf life is determined and no undesirable toxic heavy metals were leached out by the filtration process.
